Truespace Tips Caveats
- The most important thing is that this is a living document,
conceived and nurtured by the Truespace user community. It lives
and dies by your contribution. As you become more and more
proficient with TS, your knowledge becomes more and more valuable
to the list. Please share your discoveries with us, just as we've
done with you. You can
send your tips directly to me
for inclusion on this page.
- This page isn't meant to be a FAQ list, nor a trouble-shooting
guide. A comprehensive FAQ effort is already underway. So we
purposely focused this page on usage-oriented material not
covered in the Truespace documentation or covered very poorly.
Also, included are techniques not immediately obvious to the user.
- Although we try to keep things accurate, we don't have the time
or inclination to try everything out. Therefore, use any
information here at your own risk. We and the respective authors
are not responsible for the accuracy, suitability
or truthfulness of the tips presented. However, if you
report problems to me,
We'll do what we can do resolve them.
- While the contributors obviously like to share Truespace information
with others, we do in fact have lives. So while most of us welcome
email, we don't want to be deluged with questions -- especially
the ones that are readily answered in the manuals. But specific
questions on non-obvious TS issues are typically welcome.
- Neither we nor the authors have any sort of official relationship
with Caligari, other than digging their tool, Truespace. Please
report any TS bugs, enhancement requests, etc. to
Caligari, Inc.
- We have taken editorial license with these tips and for reasons
of clarity or presentation, the words presented here may not
be exactly those of the author.
- These tips are compiled, in many cases, without the explicit
permission of the authors. Most tips were pulled from the TS
mailing list archives. While that is a public forum, we
understand that some may not want to have their postings at
this site, or they may not want to have their e-mail addresses
published at this site. If you are one of these people, please
inform me, and we'll be
most happy to remove the offending information.
- We will try to update this list diligently to keep up with the
tips presented on the TSML, but realize there are only two of
us and the list has several hundred. We will undoubtably fall
behind sometimes. But, hey, its free, so you get what you
pay for.... ;-)
